A fashion designer to the stars has died at age 28 after developing an infection from a botched boob job that left her with shocking open wounds.
Mexican designer Ana Corona, who was based in the city of Guadalajara in the western Mexican state of Jalisco, made stunning gowns for top Latin celebrities including the singers Lucero and Gloria Trevi.
One of her close friends, journalist Nelssie Carrillo, said Ana received an infection following a breast op and blamed her surgeon, alleging malpractice, according to local media.
Ana took photos of her apparently open scars caused by the operation just days before her death at a young age.
Many Latin artists and celebrities have expressed their condolences to the young designer’s family.
