It is without a doubt that the hair and beauty industry in Kenya has grown tremendously. Hence, a number of our female celebs have ventured into the hair industry, be it hair care products or new hair brands.
Royal Media Service News anchor at Inooro TV cum actress Muthoni wa Mukiri is the new kid in the market after the launch of hairline dubbed Mukiri Hair Hub and as she says the business is meant to make her fans glow and be a superstar just like her.
She is known for her timeless beauty and ever smiles while on the screen and not to mention a cordial relationship with her co-host Ken Wakuraya. They are referred to many as the power couple of Inooro family.
In an interview with Newsline.co.ke, Mukiri says she has been in the business for a while and thus she is ready to take it to another level and satisfy the market need.
Not known to her fan, Muthoni Mukiri has been a professional model for over a decade now as well brand ambassador for notable corporate institution especially on Hair and beauty sector.
“I have been in this business for long, Mukiri Hair Hub was inspired by my fan that used to ask me where they can get the best hair and these prompted me to research and find a solution, “she states.
She adds that, finding a solution to women problem is her joy; while she refutes claims that the market is fully saturated by big brands.
“There is no competition in the market and the demand is huge, Millions and millions of women have different tastes for hair products and thus innovators of women products just needs to be creative and design products that attracts the market,” she states.
She joins a long list of celebs who have hair product among them include,gospel artiste Amani who is the face of Diva Luxury Hair, Sheila Mwanyigha the managing-director of Rembesha Kenya Limited, Wahu owns ‘Afro Siri ‘ and last but not least, socialite Vera Sidika who recently opened the ‘Vera Sidika Beauty Parlour.
