Mwangi Wa Iria Dealt a Blow


Murang’a governor Mwangi Wa Iria has suffered  a blow after a building associated with him collapsed.

By the time of the incident,the governor was busy issuing bursary cheque for the unfortunate family at Ihura stadium.

The collapsed building which was rumoured to be school ( Edinburgh private school) was once said to be built in a swampy area.

The collapsed building is estimated to cost sh 780million.

Wairia who is serving his last term in office has been on overdrive mission of investing through petrol stations and schools.

A source who has requested anonymity has hinted to newsline that Wairia through proxies has already started road construction companies which built roads within the County.

“The governor has been on overdrive gear to reap every opportunity that arise,he has invested in petrol station from Murang’a town all the way to Thika,”he said.

The governor has also declared interest to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta 2022.

He is expected to battle it with, William Ruto William Kabogo,Moses Kuria, Peter Kenneth,Mwangi Kiunjuri among others.
