A 35-year-old woman has been killed by her ex-husband in Kitui County. The incident happened at Kalambya village in Kitui County.
The woman worked as hose help within the area.
According to a local publication, Area Chief Patrick Ndoo said the man then tried to commit suicide by stabbing himself with the same knife but was arrested and handed to Ndolos Corner Police Station as investigations continue.
The body of the deceased was taken to Kitui Level Four Hospital morgue.
