Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has once again differed with his deputy party boss William Ruto over Kibera by-election.
Moses Kuria has taken to his official twitter account to lecturer the DP urging him not to push Mariga to the dirty politics.
Kuria states that the DP should let Mariga focus on his football career and mentor the youths across the Country.
Let Macdonald Mariga spend time to grow our football and our talents. Siasa itakuwepo leo, kesho na mtondogoo. @WilliamsRuto let the young man be. He will live to join this silly, dirty game of politics another day

“The problem with Kibra constituency has been political tourism and slum tourism. My late friend Ken Okoth was born in Kibra hence his deep passion to uplift the lives of Kibra people. I have challenged my friend Ronnie Osumba to create a Born in Kibra (BIK) movement to bring together people who manage to break off from the challenges of Kibra and make it in life to go back and help lift Kibra from the yoke of poverty. Political tourists and slum tourists will not help Kibra. The person I vouch for to take forward from where Ken left is another Born in Kibra, Benson Musungu,” Kuria said.
On Monday, 16 candidates presented themselves at Jubilee Party Headquarters in Pangani, Nairobi for interviews and vetting.
After the interviews, Mariga was declared the preferred Jubilee candidate in the Kibra parliamentary race.
