The building bridges Initiative (BBI) was first applauded as good initiative immediately it was presented to president Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Its main objective was to unite Kenyans while also propelling the Country towards realization of Uhuru’s big 4 agendas as well vision 2030.
Politicians allied to both Kieleweke and tangatanga seem they had different intention behind the BBI curtains.
Those allied to DP Ruto led by Kimani Ngunjiri,Moses Kuria among others has accused Raila of using the initiative to enrich self.
They have termed it as a detergent to wash sin as far you can extend the handshake to former premier.
Recently, the “mwosho mmoja” phrase has been used in reference to Raila Odinga’s appetite to “dance” with suspected criminals.
Human rights activist Boniface Mwangi has been a critic to Raila’s mode of operation whom he accuses of harboring and promoting corruption in the Country.
“Raila Odinga is the best cleaning detergent in Kenya. He legitimized the most corrupt government in our history for a fee.Thief, rapist, and murderer? Don’t worry, pay a fee shakes Raila’s hand and your crime will be forgiven. “he said.
Third Way Alliance leader Ekuru Aukot also seems to support this claim noting that BBI has been turned into Aden of thieves and hypocrites.
“BBI cleans theft, it has given birth to high priests of impunity,” Said Aukot.
Migori governor Okoth Obado, Mike Sonko as well as Babu Owino are some who have been washed by Raila’s detergent.
On Wednesday, Odinga received former Kasarani MP Elizabeth Ongoro back to ODM, last year she together with husband was arrested over misappropriation of public fund.
