Kithure Kindiki Stands no Chance to Deputize Anyone and Win 2022

The removal of Kithure Kindiki as senate deputy speaker has been termed as the start of the dirty politics in the Mount Kenya region with 2022 campaigns just being around the corner.

Kindiki who is Tharaka Nithi Senator was taunted as possible running mate for deputy president William Ruto after successfully having on his side.

Political analysts have argued that the system in the political arena is doing everything possible to tame the deputy president of political influence in the region.

Already word on the street has it that another one in the chopping board from the Mount Kenya region will be Kimani Ichungwa who shares a powerful finance committee and Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria for showing dying support for Ruto.

Analysts argue that Professor Kindiki has to think of Former Meru Governor Peter Munya influence in the region as well as the Kiraitu Murungi.

They have been termed as a key figure in the area despite having political differences.

Already Munya has declared his position for presidency come 2022 and this will complicate Kindiki calculation.

Also, Munya doesn’t see eye to eye after botched 2017 election where he accused Ruto of rigging him out during the election.

Kindiki should, therefore, think of another strategy to remain him afloat in the national limelight.
