Monday Morning reports flooded online that the president Uhuru and his deputy held up in seven hours meeting to solve their differences.
The two have been appearing not been in good terms lately, with their allies going after each other and accusing each leader of either undermining or mistreating the other.
But the Standard on Monday reports that the duo on Saturday held a seven-hour meeting, a meeting whose agenda remains unknown.
Sources aware of the development has hinted that the Dp requested president Uhuru to shield him from his opponent attacks.
He requested that the invitees should avoid politics during the event if they were to address the nation.
Atwoli has been accusing DP Ruto of being involved in corruption thus tarnishing Uhuru’s name.
During his speech, Ruto asked Kenyans to Pray for Uhuru and his administration especially during this time of Corona pandemic.
