We Will Force Ruto to Respect Raila Odinga – Opposition MP

The recent utterances by rift valley MP Oscar Sudi has attracted a lot of attention and public scrutiny over what leaders claim that he disrespected the head of state Uhuru Kenyatta and his mother Ngina Kenyatta.

Leaders led by Babu Owino have called on the arrest of the MP noting that the utterances were purely made to attract community wars and can lead to inter community wars.

The deputy president William Ruto on Monday warned leaders allied to him against inciting each other and they should work towards one goal.

Babu Owino on his Facebook page said that they will force Ruto and his allies to respect the head of state and former prime minister Raila Odinga.

He said that its not okay for leaders to disrespect other leaders and especially dragging their mothers’ in their mess.

Laikipia Women representative Cate Waruguru has also condemned Oscar Sudi for allegedly trying to destabilize the peace by abusing everyone.

“Its absolutely wrong to insult the wife of the first President of this nation. Absolutely wrong. Or any other mother or woman for that matter. It shows disrespect to women by the people who want to assume the next government. It leaves us with the question what will happen if they acquire power. There is a way of delivering message but not through insults to women. Misogyny is dragging us behind,”she stated.

The opposition fraternity and those supporting BBI have claimed that they will make sure that the DP will not succeed Uhuru.

While speaking on Citizen TV on Tuesday,Raphael Tuju said that the party is doing everything possible to ensure everything is in order.
