The Annual Delegates Congress (ADC) Cohort Two officially kicked off today at PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort & Spa, bringing together key players in Kenya’s cooperative sector.
The event was graced by the Principal Secretary for Co-operatives and MSMEs, Hon. Patrick Kilemi, and National Chairman Mr. David Sohelo Mategwa. Other notable attendees included Nairobi County Director of Co-operatives Dolphine Aremo, Starehe Sub-County Co-operative Officer Rose Mwithiga, and the organization’s Board of Directors, CEO Solomon Atsiaya, and staff.
The congress focuses on fostering unity and innovation within the cooperative movement, addressing key challenges, and exploring opportunities for growth and sustainability. Leaders emphasized the critical role of cooperatives in driving economic development and the need for collaborative strategies to strengthen the sector.
