Billionaire Thuo Mathenge names his deputy in race for Nyeri governor seat

Billionaire Thuo Mathenge has announced Dr.Esther Maina as his running mate ahead of august election.

The Duo will be vying on TND party ticket whose deputy party leader is Jimmy Kibaki.

Speaking, Thuo said that, Dr Maina is qualified and she has ground appeal from the people of Nyeri.

“I was looking for someone with brains and humbleness that can talk, listen and interact with the elderly women because I want to serve the Nyeri people most effectively, “He said.

Dr. Thuo Mathenge vowed to allocate her two ministries in his government in case they win the seat.

Dr Esther Maina on her part welcomed the move to deputize Thuo in coming election.

She expressed optimism that they will win the seat and liberate the people of Nyeri from the strings of poverty.

She said that she has held so many position in her career and thus she is suitable for the race.

Others in the race for the Nyeri governor race include Ephraim Maina (Jubilee party), Peter Munyiri (CCK party), Incumbent Mutahi Kahiga (UDA), Gachara Kamanga (Independent) among others.

It’s only Thuo Mathenge who has named his deputy while others are yet to announce publicly.
