Bishop Simeon Oyugi Celebrates 38 Years in Ministry, Achievements in Love Africa International

Renown preacher, Dr. Simeon Oyugi has marked 38 years as a minister of the gospel, founder and the presiding Bishop of Amazing Grace Gospel Church in Kenya.

The event took place on Saturday, 25th November, 2023 at their Kayole, Nairobi branch attracting both local and international guests.

Narrating his journey, the man of God started his ministry when he was 17 years of age preaching Christ Jesus in schools and villages.

“We are today celebrating the lives of young people who could died at the hurt of the guns. We have transformed lives of youths who were involved in serious criminal offenses such as robbery with violence. We retrieved many guns from young people who reformed and became productive to the community,” he said.

Oyugi who is also the founder and CEO of Love Africa Foundation, International nongovernmental organization said he has sourced donors on top of the generous support of his followers to put a smile on the faces of the vulnerable in the community.

Love Africa International Foundation has facilitated children from primary school now graduating as nurses, engineers, lawyers and doctors from best universities in the country.

“We are community oriented by culture, this Christmas season we are reaching out to over 200 homesteads donating foodstuffs and clothes. In January we are issuing the school going children cheques to facilitate their studies. We have also open community schools for families who cannot afford to pay school fees for their children,” he said.

Through his ministry, Dr Oyugi has faced the challenge of unemployment amongst most youths in the community, he however acquired land to ensure they get jobs in the farm.

In conclusion, the clergy urged Christians to be cautious and keep off the mushrooming churches with controversial beliefs and cultism we sit at the verge of eternity.
