Our Competitors have Sensed defeat: Bishop Wanjiru

Nairobi county UDA senatorial candidate Bishop Magret Wanjiru has come out to defend embattled Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja over his degree drama.

Speaking to her supporters at New Komarock primary school in Embakisi Central Constituency in accompany of the area MP Benjamin Gathiru together with other UDA MCA aspirants in the area to check on the progress of the upcoming Primary school Building, Bishop Wanjiru told off those chastising Sakaja, claiming that their plans to frustrate his bid for the Nairobi governor’s seat in the August polls will not succeed and that Sakaja will be on the ballot and He will win.

“Our Competitors have sensed defeat in the Nairobi’s top seat race and that is why they are peddling lies against our next governor’s academic qualification in a bid to ensure he is denied clearance.” Bishop Wanjiru stated

“Those frustrating Sakaja should let Nairobians to decide on the leaders they want in office at the August General Election, Sakaja is qualified and has the papers, let IEBC do its job” she added

Sakaja, who is contending for the city’s top seat on DP Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket, has of late been put on the spot over alleged lack of proper academic documentation.

Bishop Wanjiru also used the same meeting to assured Nairobi Business community that under her leadership she will make sure that 20 new markets are build in Nairobi.

 “We will enact policies that will offer growth opportunities and an environment suitable for business within Nairobi by building 20 new markets, the beneficiaries of the markets we will build will be for locals of that particular area this is in line with the bottom up economic model that we are advocating for in UDA.” She assured

 “I will change the lives of Nairobians once you elect me as your servant, I will address the issues Water and streamline Bursaries allocations, stop grabbers of our schools and markets and ensure foodstuffs prizes go down”

“As a Bishop, a mother and a former Member of Parliament, I have the experience to offer great leadership. I have been tried and tested before, You all know me, give me this seat in August and see what I will deliver for you, Let’s all walk this journey together”

Bishop Wanjiru further lauded Embakasi Central Constituency Member of parliament Benjamin Gathiru for his development record in the constituency, especially in the education sector.

“Gathiru has been of big Benefit to Embakasi Central citizens and we can all see what he has been able to in the last 5 years, the New komarock South Primary school building with modern equipment will see more of our children enrolled in school, He indeed deserves a second term and am hopping you will not let him down”

Bishop Wajiru will be racing against Edwin Sifuna of Azimio la Umoja Coalition for the Senate seat.

She has been touring different areas of the County, meeting with different groups to discuss their problems and offer solutions.
