Cooperative Bank of Kenya Chief Executive Gideon Muriuki has advised university graduates to embraces a Transformational Culture.

He said that at Cooperative bank, they have nurtured and embraced a transformational culture that is helping them grow.

“Co-operative Bank fully embraces and nurtures a Transformational Culture that guides the way we relate with all our stakeholders. We believe that building a transformative culture that is sustainable and inclusive, is not in conflict with our business goals and pursuit of profit, rather they are complementary. We are proud to have built a culture that is both competitive and high-performing on the one hand and is also purpose-driven and faith-led on the other. “He said.

He said that through a transformative culture, they have built competitive edge in the marketplace as reflected in the groundbreaking innovations that the bank continues to show.

“In any event, we believe that the faith-led culture builds a greater sense of accountability, for the reason that each of us knows that we are not only accountable to our seniors here on earth but also that there is a God in heaven who watches over us and to whom we are all accountable to ultimately, “he said.

On building Teams, Muriuki said that through the collective efforts of the employees at Co-op Bank they have revolutionized the banking sector through many initiatives as trailblazers.
