“Co-operative Bank of Kenya, in partnership with Visa, has launched a Debit Card, a Credit Card, and a Pre-paid Business Card designed to transform how Medium and Small Business Enterprises, Cooperative Societies and Corporate Institutions in Kenya manage their expenses, empower employees and optimize financial control,” Bank said in a statement.
The cards, which can be used both locally and internationally, enable business owners to separate business expenses from personal ones. They also allow direct payments from business accounts, helping businesses better track and manage their spending.
In addition, the cards offer interest-free credit, which assists with cash flow management, and provide businesses the ability to digitize and monitor office and travel expenses. Users will also benefit from business-focused discounts at selected Visa merchants globally.
These cards are available to both existing Co-op Bank customers and non-customers, and can be obtained from any Co-op Bank branch across Kenya.
This initiative is part of Co-op Bank’s continued efforts to provide innovative banking solutions that cater to the needs of businesses in Kenya, empowering them to thrive in an increasingly digital and competitive economy.
