Co-operative Bank of Kenya and its subsidiary Kingdom Bank jointly sponsored the Run for the Bibleless event held last week at Carnivore Grounds.
The annual fundraising run supports efforts to translate the Bible into Kenyan languages that do not yet have scripture in their native tongues.
The event attracted hundreds of participants, including corporate sponsors, church groups, and individuals, all united in the mission to make the Bible accessible to more communities.
In a statement, Co-op Bank expressed their commitment to the cause, thanking all participants and supporters.
“Co-op Bank, The Kingdom Bank, sponsored the Run for the Bibleless at Carnivore grounds. The Run for the Bibleless is a fundraising campaign for translation of the Bible for Kenya communities that don’t have the Bible in their language yet. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this cause. ,” the statement read.
Proceeds from the event will go toward ongoing Bible translation projects, helping to preserve local dialects while fostering spiritual growth among underserved communities.
