The Cooperative Bank of Kenya has officially opened its newest branch at Imaara Mall along Mombasa Road.
Through their social media platforms, the bank announced the commencement of operations at the branch, situated on the second floor adjacent to Agha Khan University Hospital.
“New day, new branch! Our Imaara Mall branch is now open and ready to serve you. Located on the 2nd floor next to Agha Khan University Hospital,” the bank proclaimed.
This inauguration follows closely on the heels of the bank’s recent establishment of a new branch in Ugunja, Siaya County, aligning with its commitment to providing accessible financial services nationwide.
Co-op Bank has also expanded its presence with new branches in Thika, Meru, Kamakis, Kimana Town in Kajiado, and Kenol Town, among others.
During the launch of the Imaara branch, William Ndumia, the Director of Retail and Business Banking, reiterated the bank’s dedication to extending its reach to underserved areas.
“As we pursue our mission and vision, our goal is to establish a dominant presence in this market. There are still untapped regions we aim to penetrate, and we plan to venture into various areas within the year,” Mr. Ndumia affirmed.
Co-op Bank recently announced plans to open 15 new branches this year, demonstrating its commitment to bridging gaps and meeting the evolving needs of customers, particularly in emerging business hubs across the country.
“We are determined to address these gaps. With infrastructure development across the country, new key towns have emerged, presenting opportunities for business growth. Our customers are spreading out, and we aim to meet their needs,” he added.
