In a significant move to bolster Kenya’s telecommunications landscape, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy, William Kabogo, met with a delegation from Ericsson a he ministry headquarters.
The meeting centered on exploring innovative solutions to enhance connectivity and accelerate digital transformation across the country.
Speaking, CS Kabogo emphasized the importance of a robust telecommunications sector in unlocking new opportunities for businesses and individuals.
He noted that partnerships with the private sector are crucial in driving a digitally inclusive economy, which will improve lives, redefine industries, and shape a sustainable future for all Kenyans.
“Today, I had a productive engagement with the Ericsson delegation on advancing Kenya’s telecommunications landscape. Our discussions focused on innovative solutions to enhance connectivity and accelerate digital transformation. A robust telecom sector is key to unlocking new opportunities for businesses and individuals alike.” he said.
The meeting aligns with the government’s broader strategy to enhance digital infrastructure and promote innovation, as highlighted by CS Kabogo during the annual data privacy conference in Eldoret.
