Kibirigwi, Kirinyaga County – Kirinyaga County Assembly Speaker Muteti Murimi has reaffirmed his commitment to improving service delivery and healthcare access through the Huduma Mashinani Initiative and Medical Camp at Kibirigwi Chief’s Office, Kiine Ward.
In partnership with Huduma Centre Kirinyaga and Aster Health Care & Ophthalmology, the initiative provided critical government services, free ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) and eye consultations, and distributed prescription glasses and subsidized medication to over 1,000 residents.
A major milestone was the identification of 15 patients in need of specialized ENT surgeries, which will now be conducted free of charge, further highlighting Speaker Murimi’s commitment to accessible healthcare.
Accompanied by Area MCA Hon. Geoffrey Murimi, Hon. Thomas Mwangi, Hon. Milker Thoithi, and Hon. Isaiah Mbogo, Speaker Murimi engaged with residents, ensuring efficient service delivery and reinforcing his hands-on leadership approach.
“I appreciate our partners for their dedication. Together, we are making essential services more accessible and ensuring no one is left behind,” he stated.
Through his leadership, the Huduma Mashinani Initiative continues to transform lives, showcasing responsive governance and a commitment to community welfare in Kirinyaga County.
