Eric Omondi Hits Back At Miguna For comparing him with Raila Odinga

Lawyer Miguna Miguna, who wrote a defamatory statement against comedian Eric Omondi and ODM leader Raila Odinga, has retaliated.

Raila had been insulted by Miguna, who compared his journey to the UK after Deputy President William Ruto‘s tour to Omondi taking on veteran boxer Muhammad Ali in a battle.

“Raila Odinga being sent to London to talk at two international fora days after William Samoei Ruto has just spoken there is like sending Eric Omondi into a boxing ring with Muhammad Ali without a referee. Raila’s distorted pride and Omondi’s mangled jaws will serve as a warning to others in the future “On Monday, Miguna stated.

In response, Omondi turned to Instagram to express his displeasure at Miguna’s remarks.

He stated that he intended to push for Miguna’s return, but then implied that his words about him and Raila had caused him to reconsider.

He exclaimed, “Na vile nilikua nataka kusaidia huyu mubaba arudi nyumbani, nkt!”

“And the way I intended to struggle for his return to Kenya, Nkt!” loosely translates.

Raila will visit the United Kingdom next Monday, where he will also speak at Chatham House, prompting Miguna’s anger.

On Monday, Ruto spoke at Chatham House, criticizing Raila Odinga‘s handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Raila appeared to be unable to defeat Ruto in public debate, according to Miguna’s comments.

Miguna has been out of the country since he was forcibly expelled in 2018.

Several court orders in his favor have not been carried out, and his Kenyan passport remains in the hands of the state.

The document was allegedly destroyed by the authorities, according to Miguna.
