Former National Transport Safety Authority Director General Francis Meja who is eying the Kajiado gubernatorial seat in the forthcoming General Election has joined the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party associated with DP William Ruto.
Meja officially declared that he would be vying for the county chief position on a UDA ticket on Thursday after a consultative political meeting with Ruto.
Accompanied by a host of Kajiado leaders including Kajiado West MP George Sunkuiya whom they hail from the same constituency, a host of members of the county Assembly and politicians.
Meja a new comer in politics said he has widely consulted his supporters before making the decision.
