He was accompanied by William Kabogo (Tujibebe Party), Moses Kuria (Chama cha Kazi), Kimani Wamatangi (UDA), and a host of aspirants within the Kenya Kwanza alliance.

Speaking, Rigathi Gachagua said that the people of Mt Kenya are fully behind William Ruto and the UDA fraternity.

Mr. Gachagua said the Kenya Kwanza Alliance government will look into the problems facing coffee, tea, rice, and horticulture farmers in the Mount Kenya region.

He claimed the current government has failed to assist the farmers who contribute enormously to the growth of the economy.

He rallied the people of Mt Kenya to vote for the UDA candidates who will act as Ruto’s supporters both in the National assembly and in Counties.

Rigathi declared he (Rigathi) alongside William Ruto are prepared to take over the government and transform the lives of the majority of desperate Kenyans.

“I know that the next government will be formed by Kenya Kwanza and Raila Odinga should stop hiding behind Uhuru Kenyatta and Martha Karua as he won’t get any votes from the Mount Kenya region,” Rigathi said.

He said that even if Raila clings to Karua, he will not get votes from the area as the region already signed an agreement with William Ruto.

He further noted that the next government will take care of the youths who aren’t employed by creating job opportunities.

He urged President Uhuru Kenyatta not to endorse Raila Odinga on the people noting that his (Raila) traits are known by the Kenyans.

Rigathi further promised that the Kenya Kwanza government will take care of the police forces by improving their way of life while also introducing free education.

“Kenyans are no longer illiterate. We have five million young people who are highly educated and it is clear Mr. Odinga and his ilk don’t understand the problems affecting Kenyans, we will roll out empowerment programs that will elevate their lives, “He said.

Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo called on his supporters to vote for him on August 9th.

Kabogo said that the Kenya Kwanza administration will help to solve most of the problems that Kenyans are facing.

Kabogo urged locals to vote for leaders who will help to transform the society.

“Kaba Kabogo (better Kabogo) and I will transform the lives of the people of Kiambu and we will take over from where we stopped in 2017,’ Kabogo said.

Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi echoed Rigathi’s sentiment of voting for six pieces during the august election.

Wamatangi said that the DP Ruto is the best suited to succeed Uhuru Kenyatta as he (Ruto) understands the problems of the people.

He promised that his government if the elected governor will create employment and resuscitate the economy through the creation of opportunities.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria on his party urged locals to ensure that they vote for the best candidate who holds their visions at heart.

Kuria said that Raila Odinga and Azimio la Umoja are lying to Kenyans while the cost of living has gone high.
