For the first time Thika residents got a glimpse of the deities of the Hindu community.
They were taken round the busy streets of Thika, awing residents who said they have never seen such before.
According to the Hindu Temple in Thika, the procession that caught many unawares was a celebration of their second temple there.
“We are marking the opening of new Temple at section 9 of Thika” he said.
There are hundreds of Hindu gods, each representing something.
The few they took out and were dragged in beautiful carts represented their supreme being.
“Each is a representative of a deity and it depends if it will be taken round by men or women, elderly or young” a Hindu who sought anonymity said.
They were preceded by classic cars carrying their leaders and several bands dressed in differently colours and styles.
Police were deployed to protect the procession and help control human and vehicular traffic.
“This is beautiful. I am surprised to see this. I didn’t know Hindus have such rich culture” Kelvin Mutua, a bodaboda rider said.
Hi there! Quick question that’s completely off topic. Do you know how to make your

I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to correct
