Controversial betting site mozzartbet has been accused by Kenyans of giving wrong betting results in the ongoing world cup despite him winning.

Identified as Mike Kokumu, he posted on company social media pages that he had worn but the company declared different results.

Mozzartbet replied as follows, “Hello Mike Kokumu, Thank you for reaching out to us. Kindly share the specific ticket ID for clarification,”

Immediately after sharing the ID, Mozzartbet acknowledges the receipt of the matter.

Another client identified as Ayanna Muchemi accused the company of not paying the bonuses.

He posted: “you have not been paying bonuses since Tuesday.

The company apologizes claiming that it has been a system error urging him to share the ticket ID for assistance.

Early this year, betting firm MozzartBet lost more than Sh300 million after the High Court ruled that the funds, which were frozen two years ago, are proceeds of crime.

Justice Esther Maina ruled that the money held in three bank accounts was part of a money-laundering scheme and should be forfeited to the government.

Mozzartbet Kenya Roped Into Money Laundering Allegations -

Court filings show that MozzartBet used its paybill number 290059 to send the money to Kimaco Connections to its paybill 311372. The highest amount sent was Sh50 million in a single day while the lowest was Sh1.8 million.

ARA said that MozzartBet sent a total of Sh256 million within five days, flagging the funds as suspicious. The funds were later moved to an account at Co-operative Bank.

The company has accumulated a lot of negative comments on its social media accounts.
