Illicit brew Kills four in Bungoma County

Four people on Tuesday died after consuming illicit brew in Canaan village in Kamukuywa ward, Kimilili constituency, Bungoma county.

Residents had complained of stomach-ache and general body weakness after consuming the brew, locally known as changaa, at a local brew den.

Kimilili sub county police commande, Muita Marwa, said several others had been taken ill.

He said twelve are admitted at Kimilili sub county hospital under critical conditions.
