In a star-studded event held at the Kasarani Sportview Lodge, renowned media personality Ken Wakuraya unveiled his much-awaited book, titled “Muugi Mugikuyu,” alongside the launch of his website, Kenlive.co.ke.

The event, attended by distinguished guests, including Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Trade, Rebecca Miano, Kiamwangi MCA Kungu Smart, Gaturi MCA Gathee wa Njeri, Murera MCA Moses Ngattha, as well as a host of investors and top media personalities, marked a significant milestone in the promotion of Kikuyu culture and language.

Trade Minister Rebecca Miano during her address expressed the government’s commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering the growth of arts and culture in the country.

She revealed that she had been deeply inspired by Ken Wakuraya’s book, which meticulously outlines the rich tapestry of Kikuyu culture.
