In a star-studded event held at the Kasarani Sportview Lodge, renowned media personality Ken Wakuraya unveiled his much-awaited book, titled “Muugi Mugikuyu,” alongside the launch of his website, Kenlive.co.ke.
The event, attended by distinguished guests, including Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Trade, Rebecca Miano, Kiamwangi MCA Kungu Smart, Gaturi MCA Gathee wa Njeri, Murera MCA Moses Ngattha, as well as a host of investors and top media personalities, marked a significant milestone in the promotion of Kikuyu culture and language.

Ken Wakuraya expressed his vision of encouraging the Kikuyu community to embrace their language and culture proudly.
He emphasized the importance of preventing judgment or discrimination against those who speak their mother tongue.
Wakuraya pledged to continue his literary journey, promising more enlightening and culturally enriching works in the near future.
“I envision a future where the Kikuyu community fully appreciates their language and heritage without fear of judgment. My commitment is to keep writing books that celebrate our culture, and I look forward to launching more in the coming years.” Ken said.
Kiamwangi MCA Kungu Smart said that the book launch and website unveiling ceremony showcased the convergence of culture, literature, and modern technology.
