Kura Builds a Game Changer Road in Banisa Constituency

Connectivity made easier as KURA constricts a High-class road in Banisa Constituency

Movement in Banisa Constituency, Mandera County has been made easy this is thanks to the roads Kenya Urban Roads Authority KURA has continued to build.

The latest is a road in Banisa township that has been built by the authority.

The road which is roughly 5 kilometres has been done using the shortest time possible.

Locals in the area have praised the project describing it as a game changer for them.

According to them the project has brought a new face to the town that has once been forgotten back.

“We have seen alot of improvement now. Town is now accessible . Dust is now a thing of the past. This is the Kenya we want,” Mohamed Aden a resident said.

The resident urged President William Ruto to add more resources to the region saying this will make it grow amr not be marginalized.

” We can now access hospitals because of the good road,” said a resident.

All this has been done through the legacy of the late Mp Hassan Kulow Maalim who championed development in the area.

The Mp who passed away in April 2023 was very focused on uplifting the livelihoods of the residents in the Constituency.

Despite his demise, his legacy continues to follow him in areas of roads, education and infrastructure.

Kulow had dreams of making Banisa a working Constituency and his efforts have continued to work despite his demise.
