The Gatundu South MP’s words came after Karua said during an interview with NTV that the One Kenya Alliance collapsed once partner parties signed a deal with Azimio la Umoja.

But she said that doesn’t stop her from negotiating with other coalitions.
Our partners have negotiated and feel the deal is good, we cannot stop them from proceeding. We made it clear when signing the deal that this is not a prison. If our partners have gone before us, it is their right, when our time comes we will do what suits us, Karua said.
The Service Party’s Kuria, Karua and Mwangi Kiunjuri were part of the Mt Kenya Unity Forum where Karua was elected the group’s spokesperson.
Kuria and Kiunjuri have openly declared their support for Deputy President William Ruto, while Karua has left people speculating about which side she will join between Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja.
Karua insists the doors are still open to joining either coalition, even as she still has her eye on Kirinyaga’s governor’s seat.
The leader of Narc Kenya had initially signed a cooperation agreement with the One Kenya Alliance.
