Mwai Kibaki was a Kenyan politician and the third President of Kenya, serving from 2002 to 2013. He was a member of the Party of National Unity (PNU) and previously served as Vice President under President Daniel arap Moi.
Kibaki was also a veteran of Kenyan politics, having held various cabinet positions in the government during the 1960s and 1970s.
