Lugari Pri Sch KNEC Officials Forced To Photocopy KCPE Exam For 23 Pupils

Drama ensued at Lugari Primary School in Kakamega County after what transpired on the first day of the national KCPE examinations.

Reports indicate that officials overseeing the examinations at Lugari Primary School were forced to photocopy the question papers for 23 Pupils whose question paper did not come as they were unregistered.

The 23 Pupils were already seated in the classroom waiting for the papers but it turned out they were not catered for.

This prompted the officials to look for alternative way to address this issue quickly. Yesterday the papers were English, English composition and Mathematics.

Western Regional Director of Education, Stephen Baringo while speaking to the media over this issue noted that they were working to resolve this matter as the national exams continues.

He further stated that they working with officials around the area to determine what happened to the registration of the pupils and once found out, it will be made public.

The KCPE now has entered the second day across the country as the examinations expected to be finalized tomorrow.
