Meet an elderly Conwoman Swindling Karen Motorists

An old female con begging for money to fuel her car is making a kill from unsuspecting motorists in Karen.

The woman of Asian descent is approaching residents of the leafy suburb with a fake tale that her fuel has run out and she wants to be rescued.

She is driving a white Nissan Note Reg No. KCJ. Asking for Sh200 and once the kind-hearted people give her she drives to her next victim.

Jackie Arkle, a resident was approached by her this morning at a local petrol station but she declined to part with some money. But others have extended a helping hand to her.

“I said no to her because I know this is a con game she is fond of. She is also a serial gambler” Jackie reveals.

She is parking at Karen Shopping Centre waylaying residents coming from malls.

Jim Wafula nearly fell for her lie when she blocked his car and pretended she was out of gas.

“She pretended her car stalled in front of me along Karen road then she approached me humbly telling me about her case but from the blues I decided to check her fuel gauge and to my shock she had enough fuel. Realising I have unearthed her trick she sped away” Wafula revealed.

Wafula fears that she will rip-off many motorists in Karen because she is not only old and playing a crafty game of a stranded, helpless grandmother-like person, she is also convincing.

“She is not asking a lot. Just Sh200 to refuel and get home. So, a Karen resident who will stop and listen to her is very likely to give her that money or even more. And because of privacy here it will be hard to approach fellow motorists and warn them about her” he laments.
