Former Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been enjoying life at Barcelona after he was sold by Mikel Arteta in January.
The 32-year-old has been the best player for Barcelona in the last two months and he has been scoring in almost every match.
He has scored 9 goals across all competitions for Barcelona and 7 of them are from league matches. The striker has rediscovered his form at Barcelona scoring goals like he has been playing there for a long time.
The striker has been the main player for Xavi Hernandez at Camp Nou and he saved the team on Sunday against Real Madrid. Aubameyang scored a brace against the Los Blancos to give Barcelona three vital points.
Aubameyang was one of the best players in the match and he could have scored a hat-trick as he had various chances created for him. Since the Gabon international joined the Catalan giants he has formed a great duo with Spaniard winger Ferran Torres.
The two forwards have been important players for Barcelona and they have been starting in the team’s attack for Xavi Hernandez which has seen them become reliable goal scorers for the Spanish manager.
Both players started the 2021/2022 season in the Premier League with Torres at Manchester City and Aubameyang and Arsenal. They have overturned the season for Barcelona from a struggling team to a competitive side.
The two showed a good understanding in the El Clasico match with Aubameyang scoring two goals and registering an assist while Ferran Torres had a goal and an assist. Torres has scored 6 goals and registered 5 assists at Camp Nou.
Gabon skipper on the other hand has 9 goals and one assists for the Catalans and he could score more by the end of the season. The two stars have been amazing together and have formed a great dominant attacking partnership.
