Very few people know what spouses of their leaders do for a living and especially if their representatives are ladies.
Maragua member of parliament Mary Waithera is popularly known as Wamaua is married to a mechanic who works at the small town of Saba Saba next to Kenol town in Murang’a County.
What people don’t know is that Maua is the name of the husband and the wife opted to use it while she joined politics in 2013.
According to locals. Maua who has been supporting his wife for the second term operates just opposite Saba Saba dispensary and airport ground.

Her wife is now seeking second term re-election and now the husband has been holding grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2022 election.
