Meet the Woman That Former Minister Jamleck Kamau Fears Most

Former Minister of Nairobi Metropolitan and Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau is bold when he makes stab at a political seat.

He almost toppled Murang’a Governor Mwangi wa Iria in the last general elections.

However, the two-time MP would not dare challenge the incumbent Kigumo MP Ruth Wangari Mwaniki. He fears her.

In 2002 campaigns when Kamau made his first attempt on the Kigumo seat his campaign team was attacked and beaten ruthless at one of towns there.

The counter-squad was sent allegedly by Wangari who admitted it and challenged Kamau to fight back.

Unknown to many, Wangari is Kamau’s ex-fiance and theirs is a contest triggered by love-turned-hate.

The two hails from same village and were lovers during their youth days before the relationship went south and Wangari made it her mission to challenge Kamau in all frontiers.

During the 2017 campaigns when she campaigned for the Kigumo MP seat, she publicly humiliated Kamau and challenged him to abandon the governorship seat and dare Wangari on the parliamentary post.

“Jamleck Kamau will not win the governorship seat. I dare him to Kigumo seat he has held for two terms and see how I will humiliate him on the voting day” Wangari told her supporters.

People close to Kamau reveals that the ex-Minister fears the powerful woman and prefers to keep off her and not duel her.

“Kamau opts to stay away from Wangari. He knows in a duel she would emerge victorious” a source claims.
