Activist Morara Kebaso has announced that he has been gifted a fully furnished mansion in Kahawa Sukari, Nairobi, which will now serve as the headquarters for his movement.

The development follows a recent social media post in which Kebaso expressed his need for a compound house in Nairobi to establish an office and operational base.

On Tuesday, Kebaso revealed to his followers that a family friend living abroad had generously donated the mansion for his movement’s use.

“A family friend who resides overseas has offered to donate this house in Kahawa Sukari to be our office headquarters and base of operations,” Kebaso shared.

Kebaso mentioned that the only expense he would incur is a minimal service fee for the property’s upkeep, expressing his gratitude for the support.

The mansion, equipped with modern facilities and a spacious outdoor area, will act as the central hub for Kebaso’s growing team of volunteers and professionals.

The team includes lawyers, accountants, engineers, and public relations experts who will focus on initiatives such as auditing public finances and ensuring government accountability.

Kebaso’s rise in activism is rooted in his personal journey, which began when he was raised by his aunt while his mother pursued her education.

After attending Maseno School, a prestigious institution in Kenya, he became actively involved in student leadership and activism.

However, disagreements with school authorities led to his temporary expulsion. He later completed his secondary education at St. Francis Gekendo Secondary School, where he became the first student to score an A.

Kebaso went on to earn a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Kenyatta University, specializing in corporate, tax, and investment law. He also holds certification as an Investment and Financial Analyst.

During his time at Kenyatta University, Kebaso was notably active in student governance, serving as the Opposition Leader of the Kenyatta University Students Association, advocating for student rights and welfare.
