Maragua MP Mary Wamaua has issued a statement urging Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to remain focused on key agendas despite distractions from detractors.
Speaking on Tuesday in Kirinyaga, Wamaua emphasized the importance of maintaining concentration on vital issues such as coffee reforms, milk production, and combating illicit brew.
Addressing concerns over recent chatter and criticism directed at Gachagua, Wamaua advised against being swayed by “busybodies” and instead encouraged the Deputy President to prioritize the tasks at hand.

“Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, do not be distracted by busy bodies. Focus. Those who are talking a lot today were not there when you and us were campaigning for this government. They were busy with other parties while others came in the evening,” She said.
She highlighted the collective effort put forth during the campaign period, asserting that those who are now vocal were notably absent during the earlier stages of government formation.
