Virginia Wangari, the mother of 12 children who was filmed quarreling with her husband in 2016 has revealed sad events in her life that led to death of her mother.

Wangari was ejected from her matrimonial home where she was treated like an animal, locked in a room for six months and her children incited against her by the husband Joseph Kamotho.

The ex-husband is a Bishop at Body of Christ in Thika. He dumped Wangari and married her best friend who was a married woman.

Joseph Kamotho.

Wangari sought refuge at her mother’s place but she was betrayed and the mother even participated in helping Kamotho re-marry.

In a recent interview Wangari said she was chased away for 90 days because the husband was purportedly instructed so by his God.

“He took me to my mum but to my shock he had lied to her about me. He even claimed I intended to poison my mother” she said.

To her shock her mother locked her in a room and instructed her never to enter the kitchen, not to clean utensils or her mother’s clothes and to sit on a specific seat.

“I was put in a room where she would bring me food. She treated me like my husband did. I opted to walk away but Kamotho instructed her not to let me out” she said.

She was rescued by a local Chief but that was not the end of her miseries in the hands of her mother.

Her mother, Kamotho and the friend who took over her home sold their plot and then used money to pay for the woman’s dowry.

“Apart from helping Kamotho dump me, my mother helped him to pay dowry for that woman. She was among those who went for raised money for that and attended the event” Wangari narrated.

Wangari however managed to stop the Church wedding.

Weeks after the dowry her mother went mad and started walking around a local market. She then lost her eyesight, forcing Wangari to come back and take care of her.

“I took her to hospital but later her health worsened and she passed away” she said.

By the time of her death she had asked for forgiveness and a Church service was conducted for her.

Wangari says she is recovering from the past agonies and her children who were brainwashed have started accepting her.
