After the Azimio coalition led by Raila Odinga joined hands with One Kenya Alliance led by Kalonzo Musyoka, there have been a lot of questions on me who will be selected as the running mate for Raila Odinga.
The question of the running mate has been hanging in the balance whereby different politicians have been taking time to respond to the question of who will be picked as Raila’s runningmate after the August general elections.
However, Jubilee vice-chairman David Murathe has finally spilt the beans and set the record straight on the possibility of the position of deputy president position in the Azimio-OKA coalition.
Speaking in KTN in exclusive interview last night, the Jubilee vice-chairman revealed that the deputy president position is not reserved for Mount Kenya region.
He said this giving a possibility that Kalonzo Musyoka will be given the deputy president position days after joining forces with Raila Odinga to form a grand coalition.
In the interview where the Jubilee vice chair was hosted alongside Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata, the senator castigated Murathe after revealing that the Azimio OKA coalition will not reserve the deputy president position for Mount Kenya people
The Senator who was representing Kenya Kwanza in the interview said that their commitment is to ensure that the Mount Kenya region people get the deputy president position under Kenya Kwanza government led by William Ruto.
