Diana Naliaka, the individual charged with the murder of Kilifi County Chief Officer Rahab Karisa, was brought before Malindi Law Court today.
However, due to the unavailability of the high court session, no plea was taken.
Present in front of Malindi Chief Magistrate James Mwaniki, the court scheduled the case to be mentioned on August 31.

Magistrate Mwaniki ordered the accused to be held in custody at Malindi GK Prison until the end of this month when the case will be brought up again.
Additionally, he instructed that the accused undergo a mental assessment at Malindi Sub County Hospital.
Naliaka appeared in court wearing a white top and a yellow truck suit.
