Nairobi’s New Ambulance handed over to Tassia Kwa Ndege Health Center to Serve over 50, 000 Kenyans

Tassia Kwa Ndegwa Health Centre, in Embakasi Ward, to better serve the people of the ward and neighbouring wards.

Nairobi City County Governor H.E Hon Sakaja Johnson was represented during the hand over by Health Facilities County Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria.

The ambulance will offer exceeding quality health care services to about 50,000 households in Embakasi ward and strengthen health care system.

According to Mr Mosiria, the ambulance seeks to strengthen community approaches of health care, specifically to improve sexual, reproductive health in the a context of socio political, security and humanitarian crisis.

“The ambulance will help to mitigate the gap left by strengthening the community referral systems, improving sexual, reproductive health, humanitarian crisis just to name the few” said Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria

It is equiped with facilities such as nebulizer, BP machine, oxygen cylinder and other medical emergency services.

Among other local leaders present during the hand over were Ward MCA Hon Riccardo Nyantika, Area chiefs, facility board chairperson.
