NAIVAS Opens 76th Foodmarket at Juja City Mall

Kenyan leading retailer Naivas Supermarket on Tuesday 21st September 2021 opened the doors to its fourth store within its new financial year FY22 at Juja City Mall located in Juja town, exit 14 off the Thika super highway.

The outlet, a foodmarket, covering around 37,000 square feet of trading space makes it the retailer’s 8 th outlet within the greater Thika Road region with the other stores being; Mountain Mall, Kasarani, Eastern Bypass, Spur Mall, Kahawa west, Githurai 45 and Githurai 44.

Speaking during the opening ceremony of the Naivas Juja City Mall store, Naivas’ Chief Commercial Officer Willie Kimani said that the news storew will not only offer employment and give local farmers a boost on where to sell their products but will also ensure that customers will get what they need conveniently.

‘We have learnt from where our competitors have failed and worked on that. We will endeavour to ensure that our customers come first. Any of our stores that will not deliver will be closed down but fortunately that has not been the case,’ he said.

He added that the new store has been a long-standing request by their customers and through research they proved its viability and delivered a store that they are sure will meet needs of their shoppers.

‘Juja is a vibrant area and the Naivas store will bring a truly Kenyan touch to this cultural melting pot. Customers know that each time they walk through our doors they can trust us to deliver on Freshness, Quality, Variety and Affordability and the Juja City Foodmarket will be no different. No surprises just authentic Kenyan hospitality,’ he added.

This opening comes hot in heels after the launch of A Kenyan Writer’s Path an initiative by naivas aimed at supporting local authors and publishers by ensuring that they have an effective distribution network for their literacy and creative writing.

Customers can now access a wider selection of Kenyan authored content in our stores including the newest Juja City Foodmarket branch. The other stores lined up for opening next month include; Agha Khan walk in Nairobi.
