Naivas Supermarket, Kenya’s leading retail chain, is set to open its 105th outlet on August 29, 2024, at the Nyali Bazaar Mall in Mombasa City.
This new store marks a significant milestone as Naivas becomes the first supermarket chain in Kenya’s history to surpass 100 branches, solidifying its position as the largest and most expansive retail network in the country. The Nyali branch will be the 12th Naivas outlet in the coastal region.
Strategically located along Links Road, the Nyali store covers an impressive 5,000 square feet of trading space. It is designed to provide the local community with convenient access to a wide range of essential goods, aligning with Naivas’ mission to offer savings and value to its customers.
The store’s grand opening will feature exclusive sales and promotions, reflecting Naivas’ commitment to delivering quality products at competitive prices.
“This expansion is more than just a strategic move; it’s about meeting our customers right where they are,” said Andreas Von Paleske, Chief of Strategy at Naivas.
“Our goal is to provide convenient access to essential goods, making shopping quick and easy for the local community. This new store is designed to offer a seamless shopping experience while reflecting our commitment to Kenyan values and customer needs.”
The Nyali outlet will adopt Naivas’ renowned food market store format, featuring a thoughtfully curated range of products including groceries, fresh produce, dairy, meats, and general merchandise.
Shoppers can expect the same high level of customer service and Kenyan hospitality that has become synonymous with the Naivas brand.
As Naivas continues to grow, the retailer has announced plans to further expand its network with new branches in Mtwapa, Tilisi, and Mavoko.
This continued expansion underscores Naivas’ commitment to maintaining its leadership in Kenya’s retail sector and enhancing the shopping experience for its customers across the country.
