Even as the country continues to enjoy International Women’s Day, various leaders from across the country have taken to their social media accounts to wish their loved ones the same.
Among the leaders who have penned down their warm messages to Kenyan women includes Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu.
Taking to his Facebook page, the Azimio la Umoja Allied MP penned his sweet message to the country’s women, reminding them how they are important human beings to society.
He also took time to warn a section of men who have been harassing and meting violence on women, saying it is a big shame to them, especially at this error
“As for the men who believe they are bigger when they make women smaller, or that being a woman makes you less than being a man; it’s a shame that you don’t realize that you are actually a very small person” read part of his post
Ngunjiri said he was much better because of the women around him.
However, his message seems to have elicited reactions from netizens, with a larger section making fun of the legislator’s message. While some appreciated his warm wishes, a larger section moved on to wish the same to the MP, making fun of him and associating him with the female gender.

Ngunjiri had over a long period of time been associated with the opposite gender, with some going on to refer to him as Madam Eunice for allegedly getting himself involved in ‘too much moshenee’.
However, the MP has for a long time appreciated their teases, saying he is not ashamed of being associated with his sisters and mothers.
