Ngina operates a beautiful restaurant in Lari, Kiambu County, which is located on the kenyatta family’s tea estate.

In the 1980’s, this was President Uhuru Kenyatta’s luxurious house.

The restaurant officially opened on May 5th 2018 in a private celebration attended by close family members, including KICC CEO Nana Gecaha, a cousin of Ngina Kenyatta, and Citizen Tv’s renowned journalist Jeff Koinange.

Nana Gecaha posted to Instagram following the restaurant’s inauguration to laud it for its pleasant setting and educational tour of the tea farm.

“Thus, I had the opportunity yesterday to participate in #TheGreenExperience, an afternoon spent in a magnificent location where you are educated about and able to sample all the unique varieties of teas now being cultivated in Kenya…

Then you’ll be treated to a five-course meal, each one matched with a different wine (for those of you who don’t drink, there are delicious juices and non-alcoholic beverages available) “Nana stated on her social media accounts.

Ngina’s restaurant features an awe-inspiring architectural design and is staffed by one of Kenya’s greatest chefs.

“The meal is cooked by one of Kenya’s newest and hottest chefs, and your host is another of Kenya’s newest architectural designers who has spared no detail or care to your surroundings.” Nana continued.

Here are a few photographs of the restaurant.
