Musician Samidoh’s tour of the United States of America planned to last for close to two months has been a success as hoped.

The celebrated artist and his colleague Waweru Uyu are expected to perform there till late this month.
There are however questions how the musician-cum-cop got such an enviable long break from his work to do his favourite side hustle.
Speaking from US Samidoh has refuted perception he is favoured by his bosses.
The Administration Police officer said he sacrificed his leave days for a couple of years which have accumulated to months.
This explains why he has about 60 days off work, allowing him to do what he loves.
“I have not been on leave for some years. It is now I am utilizing those leave days. How you handle your leave days matters” he explained on Kenya Dispora Media.
The artist is also an AP officer.
He is currently stationed at Athi River in Machakos where he said he works behind the scenes thus not allowing him to interact a lot with civilians while at the line of his duty.
Asked if he has plans to quit the police work because he has successful career in music, his response was a big No.
“As you grow you learn what to drop. So far I have not seen a reason to quit this job” he said.
In a past interview, he said he cannot quit police career as he went through a lot in getting it.
He said he hunted for it while he was shirtless and the subsequent training was excruciating.

He has been a cop since 2013. He worked in Nairobi, Mpeketoni in Lamu then Dadaab in Garissa before transferring to Machakos.
