Kisii governor James Ongwae has nominated former Bonchari MP Charles Onyancha to join his Cabinet as the County Executive Member for Energy.
Ogwae also nominated Dr Jaqueline Mokeira as the county Trade minister. Mokeira is a university lecturer.
According to an advert yesterday, Onyancha and Mokeira have been invited to appear before the County Assembly’s Committee on Appointments for vetting on September 23rd Mokeira is set to replace Dr Skitter Ocharo, who resigned to take up appointment as the chief Executive Officer at the National Cohesion and Integration Commission.
Onyancha, who served as Bonchari MP between 2007 and 2013 will take over from John Momanyi, who resigned to vie in Bonchari by-election held on May 18.
