President William Ruto, accompanied by his deputy Rigathi Gachagua, over the weekend made a significant visit to Nyeri County, where they graced a thanksgiving service in honor of Energy and Petroleum Principal Secretary, Alex Wachira.

The visit also marked the launch of the Burguret-Muriru Road project and the opening of a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) office.

The day began with President Ruto and his deputy attending a heartfelt thanksgiving service for Energy and Petroleum Principal Secretary Alex Wachira.

During his speech at the service, President Ruto reiterated the government’s commitment to fulfilling its campaign promises and outlined the ongoing national agenda.

One of the key points highlighted by President Ruto was the need for unity and the eradication of political ethnicity across the country. He urged the local population to stand together and support the government in its efforts to create a more harmonious and equitable nation.

President Ruto took the opportunity to commend Principal Secretary Alex Kamau for his dedicated and non-tribal approach to public service.

He lauded Kamau’s commitment to good governance and emphasized the importance of such leaders in the Kenya Kwanza administration.

“I’m happy to work with our Principal Secretary Alex Kamau for one thing, he isn’t tribal, and he is a dedicated servant,” President Ruto remarked, emphasizing the crucial role Kamau plays in realizing the government’s campaign promises.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua echoed President Ruto’s sentiments, urging the electorate to support Ruto’s administration. Gachagua highlighted the administration’s focus on reducing the cost of living as one of its top priorities and assured the public of their unwavering support.

“We are fully behind President Ruto, and we will support him to realize the development of the country,” Gachagua noted, emphasizing their commitment to improving the lives of Kenyan citizens.

The visit to Nyeri County underscored the government’s dedication to fulfilling its pledges and fostering unity among the diverse communities across the nation.

Energy and Petroleum Principal Secretary Alex Wachira took opportunity to thank the head of state William Ruto for appointing him to serve the people of Kenya.

He promised to work hard in fulfilling his mandate and ensuring that his vision align with that of Kenya Kwanza government.

Through his Facebook page, the principal secretary confirmed that the president committed to support Irigithathi Primary, Irigithathi Secondary and St.Monicah Munyaka Girls with development funds to expand the school’s capacity, in addition to the mega dams in Naromoru and Karemeno that will help us provide water to our farmers in Nyeri County.

“I appreciate my family, friends, colleagues, clergy, Nyeri County leaders and the Irigithathi community for supporting me this far. We thanked God together for the opportunity to serve this great Nation in my position,” he posted.
