Raila Odinga Assured of Victory in August election

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has been assured of victory come to the August 9th Presidential polls as Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi’s-led Mbus Party Secretary-General reveals who controls the state machinery.

According to Mbus Secretary General Lawyer Mugambi Imanyara, he has said that what Deputy President William Ruto and his team should be aware of is that Raila Odinga will floor DP Ruto come to the August polls saying that President Uhuru’s influence in the Raila campaign is immense and of great impact.

Mr. Mugambi has said that Raila Odinga has the state machinery with him to help him win the elections disclosing that President Uhuru is the one who controls the state machinery.

“Uhuru is the incumbent. He was elected. He has support across the country. He leads the Jubilee Party. All combined, he has a huge impact on the Raila popularity,” Mr. Mugambi has said as quoted in the Star.

Adding that “President Uhuru has technically sealed Raila’s victory”.

However, DP Ruto’s allies have downplayed the claims that Raila Odinga with the backing of the state machinery will floor DP Ruto saying that they will beat him hands down since they have with them the support of Kenyans who own the votes.
