Deputy President Dr. William Samoei Arap Ruto said it was unconstitutional and unlawful when the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Amolo Odinga and his National Super Alliance Principals agreed to construct a rival tallying center during the fiercely fought 2017 general elections.
What goes around comes around, and DP William Ruto is keen to establish a rival tallying center for the fourth general elections, which will take place in August of this year.
Hon Raila Amolo Odinga, Kenya‘s former Prime Minister, has let go, revealing why DP William Ruto has altered his tune and now seeks to establish a separate tabulation center.
According to K24 TV Kenya, Hon Raila claimed that DP William Ruto is frantic to establish a rival tallying center since he senses a loss in the August elections.
“Raila said that Ruto’s proposal to establish rival tallying centers is a hint that the deputy president is worried about losing the August elections.” K24 TV Kenya tweeted this.
