For the sailing competitions in Marseille, Samsung will install its state-of-the-art Galaxy S24 Ultra on each competition boat. This innovative approach allows fans to experience the thrill of the race alongside their favorite Olympians, virtually placing them in the heart of the action.

Deploying this technology posed significant challenges, necessitating months of rigorous research, development, and testing. To address these challenges, Samsung utilized the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s advanced optical image stabilization (OIS) features to maintain steady and clear video footage despite the boat’s movement and harsh environmental conditions. Additionally, they increased transmission power and strategically installed relay towers on chase boats to guarantee a seamless livestream experience for viewers.
